Idea launches two new Androids dubbed for its 3G initiative; Idea FAB and Idea Ultra+

An aim to “boost mobile internet adoption in 3G markets”, Idea has expanded its smartphone lineup with a quad-core powered Ultra+ and cheaper priced FAB at Rs. 8,300 and Rs. 4,999 respectively…

With an aim to “boost mobile internet adoption in 3G markets“, Idea has expanded its smartphone lineup with a quad-core powered Ultra+ and cheaper priced FAB at Rs. 8,300 and Rs. 4,999 respectively.

Both smartphones will be sold at Idea outlets across the 3G circles in India with 3G offer of 1.6GB 3G data and Idea TV for 3 months – with package price of Rs. 259 for existing Idea subscribers and Rs. 261 for new subscribers.

Idea Ultra+ features 1.3GHz quad core equipped chipset backed by 1GB of RAM. It is dual SIM and packs in 5-inch display, 8MP rear camera, 2000mAh battery, etc.

Idea FAB sports 1.2GHz dual core processor, 3.2MP rear camera, dual SIM support.

Both phones have Android 4.2 Jellybean at the core.
