Asus has launched its mini desktop VivoPC in India today in four variants, ranging from Intel Celeron powered model priced Rs. 20,550 to Intel Core i5 powered model priced Rs. 45,900.
The latest small form factor desktop from Asus named VivoPC is in retails in two models VM40B and VC60, both are further differentiated by two variants under each other. The device, layered with metallic finishing, is said to feature a height of 56mm.
The Rs. 20,550 priced VM40B is equipped with Intel Celeron dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 500GB of HDD. With this variant, users can load their desired operating system as it does not come pre-installed with any OS.
The Rs. 27,000 priced VM40B is also equipped with Intel Celeron dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 500GB of HDD. It comes with Windows 8 operating system.
Other common features in VM40B variants: Intel UMA HD4000 graphics, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 x HDMI, 2 x USB 3.0, etc.
Priced at Rs. 38,750, VivoPC VC60 is powered by Intel Core i3-3110M processor, 4Gb of RAM and 500GB of HDD. VC60 at Rs. 45,900 is similar to its other variant in specifications terms except that it’s powered by Intel Core i5-3210M processor.
Other features of VC60: Windows 8, 1 x HDMI, 1 x mini Display, 4 x USB 3.0, ultra HD (4k) video playback, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, Intel UMA HD4000 graphics, etc.
Along with VivoPC, Asus has also launched its VivoMouse priced at Rs. 2,000, optionally sold with a metal keyboard that together costs Rs. 4,000.
Asus first announced VivoPC with VivoMouse in June at Computex 2013 event.
